Some Club Activities

The members of the Prescott Gem & Mineral Club try to go on Field Trips at least once a month.  On these trips, the members are able to locate and identify various minerals and geologic formations.  During the last year or so, the Club has gone to sites as diverse as Burro Creek; Rodeo Flat; the Anderson Mine and Obsidian Tank.  Many members of the club participate in these trips and gain much knowledge and self satisfaction.  Most trips include a social gathering built around a meal at mid day or the evening of the trips.  Members agree that they gain much satisfaction from these trips.
